The primary goal of the workshop will be to review the current status of on-going Arctic CORDEX activities and to plan and coordinate future activities. All research groups that have started or are planning to contribute to the Arctic CORDEX activity, either by performing simulations or analyzing Arctic CORDEX data, are encouraged to give a short presentation on their activities. The end of the CORDEX 2013 conference week in Brussels offers an excellent opportunity to arrange a focused discussion on future CORDEX and Climate Impact Research developments, which will be fed directly to the JPI-Climate board. Members of the CORDEX community including impact scientists, who are using and interacting with CORDEX products, are encouraged to contact Ralf Döscher (ralf.doescher (at) smhi.se) if they are interested in taking part.

The main aim of the MENA-CA meeting is to summarize all completed and ongoing activities in the Middle East - North Africa and Central Asia CORDEX domains and to discuss future activities across the various scientific communities involved. This meeting should provide a number of key actions to ensure improved coordination of regional climate and impact modelling in the MENA-CA CORDEX domains.
