1. Deserving participants

There are many deserving students, early career scientists, under-represented minorities, and budding scientists from developing nations around the world who would benefit greatly from participating in the conference but are unable to participate because they lack the necessary financial support to travel to Brussels. Contributions for scholarships for participation in the conference are welcome.

2. Conference awards and prizes

The conference will be an opportunity to recognize the quality of outstanding scientific achievements, presentations and posters during a dedicated session no the last day of the conference. Meritorious individuals will be ranked by an Award Committee and will follow a rigorous selection process. Contributions for prizes to be awarded during the conference are welcome.

3. Sponsored evening events

The conference recognizes the need for an increased dialogue with all stakeholders, including the private sector, the civil society (NGOs, etc), the media and public at large in dedicated evening sessions. These sponsored sessions, preceded by a dinner would be developed in close collaboration with the sponsoring entities.
