Getting to Villefranche

Arriving by plane

Villefranche-sur-Mer is located about 6km (4 miles) east of the city of Nice, and 10km (6 miles) west of Monaco. If you are planning on flying to the South of France, then Nice Cote d'Azur airport is the best place to fly to. Some intercontinental airline companies have direct flights to Nice airport, otherwise a connection in Paris is needed.

Paris is served by two main airports, Roissy - Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY), respectively located on north-east and on south of Paris. Both airports are connected to Paris by Express subways (RER line B).

To get to the Venue from Nice airport :

* Bus
From the airport you need to go through Nice Center. Take the bus N° 98 from either in Terminal 1 or 2, in direction to "Riquier". Go out off the bus at "Segurane" bus stop. From "Segurane" bus stop, take bus N° 81 in direction to St Jean Cap Ferrat - Port St Jean, go out of the bus at "Villefranche-sur Merc Octroi" bus stop. Walk down to the La Darse Harbor. The trip is about 1hour from Nice airport to Villefranche with the connection in Nice.
Bus ticket : 4 euros. Purchase your ticket in Bus N°98, the same ticket can be used in both buses.

* Taxis
Taking a taxi is the quickest and easiest with a journey time of around 20-30 minutes. This will cost approximately 80 Euros
